The Perfect Outfit

I think that a real must have for this spring, before any other "imperatives" fashion editors will tout about, is a good raincoat. But utility doesn't have to mean unfashionable, just take a look at this cute and very stylish laminated linen trench. It has been raining for a week now and I've decided to face the gloomy weather with cheerful details such as floral prints and pops of bright pink. I love the combination between grey or nude shades and bright hues of pink, yellow and orange. Oh, and the clear bubble umbrella is just adorable, don't you think?

For every girl out there who can still enjoy weekends and doesn't have to work her ass off (gosh, no! I'm not talking about me) I put together a cute outfit for a sunny, chilly, early spring free day. You might need an overcoat, though.

I wish you all fashionistas out there a Happy International Women's Day and here is my idea for a perfect 8 March outfit: sweet, feminine but also very modern thanks to masculine accents such as a loose silver blazer and a wide watch cuff.

Played a little with Polyvore, again...

Bright blue...golden yellow...short hem...ruffles...oxfords. Only a strong, high self-esteem woman could wear such a clash outfit and that led me to a Diva look - 80s style.

I played a little with polyvore.com (I even put a little cute background there, see?) and here is the result. I was thinking at an outfit suitable for a busy weekend, you know, when you pick up the threads of your social life, finally going shopping or showing up at a cultural event or going on a quick trip - that kind of busy. Chic, flirty and comfy.

Most companies have a casual friday dress code, but what would you say about a chic friday code? You could choose your favorite trends of the season and create your own fashionable smart look. My favorite styles: the 3/4 quarter sleeve jacket worn with cuff bracelets, the pencil skirt, ankle boots, oversized structured handbag, and the yellow top (i'm in love with this one from Phillip Lim).
