Shoe trends for spring 2008

Shoe trends this spring don't look very pretty. I mean ‘pretty' is not the word to describe these edgy, bold looks the footwear has been given. Of course, you still get to wear last season's patent, metallics, exotic leather, platforms, cone heels and ballerina flats.

Along with those, spring 2008 trends have a lot to offer: the peep-toe bootie or the oxford-sandal is the new must have. The wedge shoe is back and is higher than ever. Color-block and fabric printed shoes match the season's palette and for warrior looks what's more suited than a pair of gladiator boots?

Enjoy!

It is hard for me to see those being worn on the streets in addition to the runways.

I'd love to own the brown and sandal colored color block shoe or any in the gladiator series. The rest look too uncomfortable especially the wedges.
